IGX UFMU fails when upgraded to 2meg

We are upgrading UFMU port speeds from 1024 to 2048k ( they are DCE ports directly connected to 7507 routers), they run ok at 1 meg but when we upgrade the IGX UFMU ports to 2meg, one UFMU port is ok, the other end shows CRC errors on dspporstats command. If you change this one end back to 1meg and leave the pvc and remote port 2048 the connection comes up clean?

Hi,

you need to check what 'mode' your UFMU is operating in. The mode of a card is combination of maximum port speeds for specific port numbers. there are 27 modes available. Configuring the UFMU to a particular mode would define the max speed available to each port.

Pls check and verify your max port speed using cnfmode command and the port speed table as documented in

Thx
