IMA limits on a 3640?

I have a 3640 with a 4-port IMA module and 3-T1s in a single group. I know there is a max VC limit of 255 and a max of 4 groups per module. Is it possible to configure 2 groups, each with 2-T1s? Will this give me a max of 255 VCs per group or is the limit per module?

The limit is per module not per group. While you can number VC's up to 1024 for both groups on the 3640 module you can only have 255 active VC's on the entire module. (I ran into this very issue and had to research it heavily to get a definitive answer - we even tested it in a lab to verify).
