I have ATM link but some times this is very Slow and received this message in the log
Oct 30 08:04:34.216: %IMA-1-MAILBOX_FULL: The mailbox for channel 0 on
IMA Network Module
n slot 2 is completely full. Message 0 was dropped.
Oct 30 08:04:34.216: %IMA-1-NO_MAIL_REPLY: Timed out waiting for a
response to command 0x
from slot 2.
Any idea

Can you post your config for both the phyiscal (int ATMx/0, int ATMx/1, etc) and the IMA PVC (int ATMx/IMA0)?

The following notes might help
Error Message
%IMA-1-MAILBOX_FULL: The mailbox for channel [dec] on IMA Network Module in slot [dec] is completely full. Message [dec] was dropped.
Explanation The IMA network module mailboxes are full and cannot accept any more requests.
Recommended Action Copy the error message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log, contact your Cisco technical support representative, and provide the representative with the gathered information.

Hi,
This is a cosmetic bug when you are polling the devices via SNMP management through Cisco View or HP Openview. "MAILBOX" is the protocol used on IMA. You can open a TAC case and get a recommended IOS to fix the bug.

Well I've had similar problem. On my 3640 IMA card can have only four IMA groups and if you have phisical interface active some kind of internal IMA group is automatically asigned to it. When I shuted down unused phisical interface everything was ok.
