Image size error on a 1720 router using Xmodem

I have tried to use the xmodem command from the Rommon> prompt to reflash a 1720 router. After executing the xmodem command I get:

rommon 1 > xmodem flash-file-name

Do not start the sending program yet...

File size Checksum File name

lseek out of bounds

getdirent: lseek error

As soon as the file starts the transfer process, it stops and gives me the following error:

ERR:Image size exceeds free flash space

I have executed this successfully on several other identical 1720 routers.

Hi Darell (again):

Check that your 1720 router have enough memory flash and dram for the version that you need reflash.

You can see this in Service & Support / Software Center

I hope this help you
