Image transfer issues on 6503 with SUP32/MFSC2A

We are getting ready to convert from CAT OS to Cisco IOS on this box and will be following the instructions in this doc...

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps708/products_tech_note09186a008015bfa6.shtml#conv_32

In preparation for the conversion I'm trying to get the 122-18.SXF image on the sup (bootdisk:). I can’t do it via TFTP (file size limitation) so I’m trying it via FTP, the image file size is 42MB. Basically I'm getting a (FTP protocol error when trying to get the image). I know FTP works from this switch because I can transfer other files to the bootdisk. Any ideas why I might be getting an error?

Here is what the FTP log says...
