IMPLEMENTING FAST CONVERGENCE

HI all,

I need to implement a LAN ring Topology ( with only one ring) with 7 or 8 switch ....and is necessary recovert the lan in case of a link failure.

The important is that the lan is recovered less 1 second .

How second whith RSTP? or Up-link fast or backbone fast?

If i Implement APS in FDDI what are the system requirements?or do you knows others feautures?

Take a look through the white paper for Dynamic Packet Transport Technology, this is a newfeature that allows the full fiber ring bandwidth to be utilized.
