hi
could you plz explain me what topics are important on switching side. some of the books are confusing coz topics in those books are no longer part of exam and I just dont wanna waste my time to read those topics and exam blue print is just not very clear.

You need to be pretty good with all aspects of VTP, Multicasting and general switchport commands.
I found this book to be very useful during my studies.

There aren't shortcuts my friend. Study hard. Check the blueprint for the written-exam and read all the related documentation for each topic. For instance, for EIGRP, go to
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk365/tk207/tsd_technology_support_sub-protocol_home.html
and read until it makes sense.
Do the same for other protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
