In RME 3.4 the Reachability Dashboard shows wrong dates
In RME 3.4 the Reachability Dashboard shows Last Response days from a few days ago. Also it shows 1 device down while this is not the case. It looks like the dashboard is not updated or not polling correct. Anyone seen this before?
Re: In RME 3.4 the Reachability Dashboard shows wrong dates
Yes have seen this several times in the past and TAC also has several cases but, I don't think they have tracked this one down yet. I never fixed this in W2000 but, on Solaris this made the problem go away. Assuming you have chaed that all devices have correct snmp strings and the CW station con reach them.
Turn off all the poller options (interfaces, reachability, protocol, etc) and save. Wait 15min, then modify the poller again and remove the view so that ther eis no poller view and save. wait 15min then restart CW from the command line.
I have case open for this problem right now but, not getting much response
Note: there seams to be some limit on ICMP response time that is not documented or adjustable but, best I can tell any device >400ms away will show up as down
