Incompatability with Intel NICs and C350 switches???

I have a situation whereby at random points in time, client computers (with Intel Pro/1000 NICs) momentarily lose connectivity with a C3550 switch to which these are connected.

Unfortunately, no link state changes appear in the log for a specific client previously identified as having the issue.

Where can I start to diagnose the issue?

Hello,

the common recommendation is to update the driver for the NIC. You also might want to try and set the duplex and speed settings to a fixed value on both sides. Which model do you actually have (e.g. 3550 12G) ?

Can you post the configuration of the ports on the 3550 ?
