Incompatiblitity between 1000 base TX and fast ethernet on 2600 router

I have a 2621 router with a fast ethernet port set for 100 full. The

3750 has GigEthernet TX ports and when I set it to 100 full the interface on the 3750 dies. Anyone ever heard of this? I had the same issue on another 2600 connecting to a 6500 switch with gigEther TX port. It runs great at 10/full.

Hi

Are you connecting into one of the 10/100/1000TX ports in the 3750, or into a copper SFP?

If you are going into the SFP then it will only do 1000BaseT, and you will not be able to connect it to a 10/100TX port.

Copper

Is that a copper SFP or one of the fixed copper ports?
