Hi everibody.
Can I put a interface card : NM-1FE-TX—One-port Fast Ethernet (10/100BaseTX interface) on a 2610XM in order to obtain the second Fast Ethernet port??
Thanks

Hi there,
According to the following document, this combination is not supported:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps274/products_data_sheet09186a0080091b89.html
You can opt for the NM-1E or NM-4E instead.
Another great help for labs (escpecially routing labs) is GNS3: http://www.gns3.net/
regards,
Leo

Thank you guys.
Is it correct that NM-1E or NM-4E support only 10Mbps and not 100Mbps ??
Thanks
Massimo

As what Leo said, won't work. NM-1FE isn't supported on that particular model.

Above I see just another example of a 100% correct answer, made to help, that not being what the OP wanted to hear, has been low rated.
I have rated it again +5 leo!
The OP should learn proper forum behavoir, thanks.

Yes, it is but for a lab this is hardly a problem.
Main thing is that u have more than one interface.

Hi,
Why are you telling me that is a hardly problem for a lab?
Because my intentions are to buy same NM-1E or NM-4E.
Thanks
Massimo

I believe Leo means that for a lab environment, this setup is OK. You still, however, can't use a NM-1FE.
In production, this setup won't really work.
