I am attempting to install 2 WIC 2T's into a 3620, I have tried 5 different IOS's and still cannot get the router to even recognize the WIC cards. I have tried 12.2.10a, 12.2.1, 12.1.5T, and 12.2.8T. The router has 48mb of mem and 16mb of flash. Ideas anyone???????

The following is the min versions for the WIC-2T's on the 3621's.

12.0(7)XK, 12.1(1)T, 12.1(5)YB, 12.1(5)YD, 12.2(1), 12.2(2)T, 12.2(2)XT,

12.2(8)T

Are you certain you've got the correct part numbers on this WIC and correct platform? For example if you've got a 3631 only 12.2(2)XT1 is supported. Also there are certain Network Modules that are needed for support, according to the documentation. The WIC-2T and WIC-A/S are supported on the Cisco 3600 (on the NM-1FE2W, NM-2FE-2W, NM-2W, and the NM-1FE1R2W network modules). So, if you don't have one of these this might also be your issue.

Hope this helps,

it appears that your NM is not able to support these WICs. From your Show diag this is what you have.

Slot 0: NM-1E2W ---> Will not support your configuration according to previous link I sent.

Slot 0: WIC-1DSU-T1

Slot 1: WIC-1DSU-T1

Hope this helps,
