Re: Integrating routing and switching

Ok, I have a routed network and I want to put my new equipment working in it.

In the new equipment there is a 6506 catalyst and several 3550(48) switches.

The idea is to have vlans in the 6506 and make to work with the current routed network.

I define a vlan 100 in the 6506 .

In the rsm is the

int vlan 100

ip add 172.16.40.254 255.255.255.0

the management vlan1 is 172.16.1.0

When I try to reach the other subnets in the routed part ie 172.16.2.0, 172.16.4.0 I can´t.

I defined a eigrp in the rsm and still doesn´t work

Then I removed an its the same

It this make clear the idea?
