Integrating SNMPc with CiscoWorks2000

Hello out there,

I am looking for the NM-adapter for SNMPc in order to integrate SNMPc into CiscoView 5.1, can't find the adapter anywhere on Cisco's FTP site.

Is this CV 5.1 part of CW2000 CD-One 2nd Edition bundle ?. If so, then there is no Adapter available to integrate SNMPc with CV5.1.

For other NMS Apps like HPOV, NetView, Spectrum etc, the Adapters can be downloaded from: http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center/cw2000/cmc3rd.shtml

Unfortunately yes...why is there no adapter provided for this version of CV? CV 4.2 had an adapter for SNMPc, it's rather strange since there is probably a high need for it... so many companies use SNMPc, why would Cisco discontinue integration into such a widely used NMS Platform? Will there be an adapter coming out in the future?

No. In the old versions on CiscoWorks for Windows (CWW) application which used to be CV 4.x bundled with SNMPc. But since the CV 5.x version and CWW 6.x, SNMPc is on longer included. It's replaced by WhatsUp Gold by IpSwitch, Inc.
