Hi,
We do have Cisco works 2k (windows version ) for managing our Cisco Network . The IT management has decided to go for enterprise Management system and selected HPopenview for this task . Is it possible to integrate (install ) Cisco works 2000 with HP Openview . Of course , we do have Unix version of Cisco works 2000 and at the end of the day , we want to run HP openview and Cisco works in single Physical server . Is it technically possible ?
Thanks.
Raju

Yes, you can integrate CW2K with HPOV on the same system. If HPOV is already installed, then during the installation of CW2K, the user is prompted for the integration. If HPOV and CW2K are installed on different servers, then you need to download and install the integration utility + HPOV Adapter from CCO on the HPOV server to do the same.

Thanks Mushtaq. From Technical point of view, is there any disadvantage or performance degradation if I run CW2K & HPOV in same server.
Regards,
Raju

Depends upon the Server size (CPU, RMA disk etc), number of devices being managed with both apps. See the following White Paper on CW2K:
