Interconnecting 4506 with 2950

This is my desing.

The 4506 is the core and will be connect to the backbone over fiber. Two 2950 will be connect to the core. I need multiples Vlans trunk the ports between them etc.

I would like to know the most importants steps that I have to be care when configuring this LAN. I don't have too much experience but I want to do a great job.

Hello,

sounds like you need to configure EtherChannels between the 4506 and the 2950. The following document gives you a good overview:

Furthermore you will need to configure inter-VLAN routing on your 4506 in order for the VLANs to be able to talk to each other. Check out the following article for instructions on how to configure this:

In addition to configuring Trunking, you will want to make considerations for Spanning Tree. I would assume that you want your core switch to be the root for your spanning tree for the various VLANs.
