Interface Broadcast

Hello, when i run sh int s0 (Encapsulation rame Relay) in my router i saw a INTERFACE BROADCAST parameter with value different to cero. But i run command NO IP DIRECT-BROADCAST over interface and INTERFACE BROADCAST parameter already continue ascending . What is the reason?

Hi.

Are you running any routing protocols over the frame-relay link?

"no ip directed-broadcast" is used to tell an interface not to forward packets destined to a subnet broadcast address.
