A few days ago I have got a problem: connection between Cisco 1751 router and Catalyst 2950 was lost.
1751's fast ethernet interface shows that line protocol is down, while interface is up. 2950 shows that interface is down and line protocol is down too. I tried every possible combination of speeds and duplexes but still no result.
Reloading both devices didn't solve that problem.
So question is: what the ... ?
P.S. I didn't checked cables. Is it possible that cabling makes trouble?
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
