Interface summary after booting routers

Hello. I have 4 routers: 2514, 2501 (2) and a 2505. All are running the same IOS: 12.0, and have the same boot register settings. The 2501s will give an interface summary after booting (and pressing return to get started). The 2514 and the 2505 do not do this.

I do not see any differences in the start-up configs to make some of the routers display thier interface status, while others do not.

Is there perhaps a difference in the boot ROM that would make them do this? And more importantly, how can I turn it off-it gets kind of annoying.

Thank you for your time and input.

Re: Interface summary after booting routers

I think you are probably correct in thinking that it is differerent boot ROM since the boot ROM runs before the IOS however, unfortunately there is no way to turn this off.
