internet connection

If i have the scenario:I have 1750 router and connected the serial link to the ISP and the ethernet port connected to the local lan through the switch.Obviously the serial port i will be assigning the valid IP from the ISP.If for the ethernet port I am assigning the nonroutable IP say 10.10.10.0/8,and also I didnt enable any dynamic routing, in that case is it a compulsory to enable NAT.

Re: internet connection

You'll need NAT (if you've been assigned a block of IP's by your ISP), or PAT (overloading a single/few routable IP's) in order for your 10.x.x.x hosts to communicate with Internet hosts.
