Invalid checksum everytime i download an IOS

Hi,

Does anyone know why, when i download an ios off CCo onto my laptop (running winXP) and then tftp on to a router (using the 3CDaemon uility), i get the image showing an invalid checksum ?. Obviously the router fails to boot but the file sizes are excatly the same and seems to be a problem with my laptop as it works fine on anouther...

Make sure that when you copy the file it is a binary not an ASCII , I have run in to problems with some FTP clients that automatically set the file type to ASCII.
