IOS 12.3 on AS-5800

Hi, I recently tried the latest in the 12.3 train (12.3.5b) on my AS-5800 comprising MICA modems, and 3x12 E1 cards running R2 signalling with the PSTN. A very strange problem occurrs.

Every three to four hours, I see few line code violations on all 12 E1's on the same card, and I find that all clocks on all these E1's are rendered bad. At the same time the PSTN sees an alarm on these E1's and stop forwarding calls to any channel on any of these E1's.

I downgraded back to 12.2.19a and things are back to normal again.Anyone had any experience with 12.3 on 5800???

This can be a bug with 12.3 train, which you can check with the bug tool kit. Still you can check with the compatiblity issues with 12.3 IOS and the hardware you are having like memory , modem firmware .
