IOS bugs

My company just encountered a bug in our version of the IOS on our 3640. It was doing some really weird things with the routing table. I was wondering what are other things that a "BUG" in the IOS could cause? Is there a listing of "BUGS" for each revision of the IOS? IF so where could I find this.

Hi,

There's a couple of things you can do:

1. Get the release notes for that version of the IOS, which will list known issues with that release i.e. caveats. For example, for the 12.3 mainline release:

2. Use the Bug Tool at http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/home.pl
