IOS Garbage Problem in nvram

I have a cico Router 2600 series and when turn on the Router, i see garbage in the hyperterminal screen by console. my hyperterminl configuration port it´s ok, i have anothers routers here.. and works fine.

anyeone can help me.. if exist any way to reset a router without terminal control?

Sounds like the baud rate got changed. You can either cycle through the baud rates on your hyperterminal or sometimes hitting CTRL-C or BREAK several times will cause it to auto-set the baud rate.

You can also try plugging into the AUX port to see if you can get in that way.
