ios support for sub-interface encapsulation on cisco 1750 router

Hello,

I need to configure encpsulation on subinterface on cisco 1750 router but couldn't get the command under sub-interface. Which IOS coulc i blast on the router to enable this feature?.

the encap is going to be set on the physical interface .

I am using 1750 router. I configured subinterface on the fastethernet port. But it cant allow the following command: encapsulation dot1q 2.

what could be the problem.

It looks like only a 1751 supports it not a 1750 look at this URL
