IOS Upload/Download Confusion

I understand how to upload (or download) an IOS image to a Cisco device... Is it possible to save an IOS from the device back to your computer system though?

Hi, yes it is.

Use copy tftp and follow the prompts.

Ah great! Really need to look over the cisco commands better. No way to download it via a console cable though? I assume copy doesn't work with XMODEM?
