IP Accounting question.

I've got accounting running on an ethernet port on one of my spokes.... I'm getting "accounting threshold failed" messages. I know that I need to change my "ip accounting-threshold" value to record additional entries. Here's my question....

Once I get that "failure" message, does the accounting stop on all the entries in the table, or does the router just refuse to allow additional entries beyond the default 512, but continue to account the entries already present in the table?

As always, thanks!!!
