IP-Direct on a Cisco 3640 operating as a PPPoE concentrator

Hi,

I have a Cisco 3640 with IOS Version 12.2(8)T4 running as a PPPoE concentrator on Sprint's network. I want to direct some of the customers that sign on to a different default gateway than the others for the purposes of running them through a content filter. I have tried doing this with the Ascend-IP-Direct (sometimes just IP-Direct) RADIUS attribute. That works with my Ascend dial-up concentrators, but not my PPPoE box. Will the Cisco even accept the attribute? Do I have to write the configuration differently to make it a usable attribute? I've seen it documented on Cisco's site but not in reference to what I am doing. Any help would be appreciated.

The Ascend attribute in question is supported. You may need to verify that the attribute is being received by the 3640 and applied to the user. You can refer to this doc for that.

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_soft/csacs4nt/acs32/user/aa.htm#439

If this does not resolve the issue I would suggest opening a case.
