Basic L3 features are included by default. Routing features such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP require a license. IPX will not be supported until late August/Early September.

What is FR4232-L3 IPX feature set that you can order with the Cat 4006.

FR4232-L3 is for the Layer 3 module which goes in a CAT4006 with a Sup2. If you have a Sup3, you do not need this module. What model of Sup do you have?

I was going to order the Sup II, but if the Sup III has this feature by default, I will get the Sup III. Just for clarification, IP and IPX routing will not be available until later this year.

Sup3 comes with inbuilt Layer 3 capabilities and has many more enhanced features. IP routing is currently supported. IPX routing will be available in a August
