IP NAT Extendable Question

Could someone explain, in plain English, the use of the 'extendable' command when used in this context:

ip nat inside source static extendable

The explanation found elsewhere on the Cisco web site was not particularly clear:

Quote "The extendable keyword allows the user to configure several ambiguous static translations, where an ambiguous translations are translations with the same local or global address." Unquote

Under what circumstances should it be used?

Thanks.

this link is pretty much the same explanation you have given...the link itself describes, the circumstance under which you should use it. Some customers, want themselves to be translated to corress address spaces. In such cases you can make multiple mappings using this keyword
