Another consideration...OSPFv3 is a new protocol implementation whereas IS-IS is a (relatively) trivial extension of a tried and true protocol. In the past, new routing protocols have taken years to stabilize. Of course, past performance is not a reliable predictor of future results. But I know which I would choose if I had to make the choice today (which I don't because my clients have selected the third option -- stay with IPv4 until the dust settles).
