In my campus I am using printing through Novell( IPX). Now I am configuring VLANs for IP. I am not interested to configure ipx VLAN. Is it possible that my IPX printing will work?I am using single ipx network ( A6)in whole campus. My question is that if IP VLAN is configured that time IPX traffic will flow in different VLAN or I must Have to configure IPX routing and IPX VLAN?

Not applicable

Each port on a switch is configured to belong to a specific VLAN.

So, if you have a single VLAN for IPX, and all IPX devices

are configured to belong to such specific VLAN, then there is

no need to configure IPX routing.

If you have IPX devices belonging to different VLANs, then you must

route IPX between the different VLANs with IPX routing.
