IRB Question

Is there any way to restrict unwanted host addresses on a 'bridged' (BVI1) interface.

Re: IRB Question

What type of traffic (ip,ipx,at,etc)? What platform/code ver? When you say host addresses are you referring to host L2 addresses (eg, Ethernet MAC) or host L3 addresses (eg, IP address)? To clarify you want to restrict host-host traffic within the bridge-group, right?

Re: IRB Question

If you want to block L2 traffic, you can always define MAC-address ACLs and map them to the defined bridge-group. If you want to prevent L3 traffic, define IP ACLs and apply them to the BVI interface.
