Is Ios 11.1 compatible with Pix??

my Setup

Pix (NAT)---------(e0) router 2500 (s0)--Internet

The router 2500 is running ios 11.1. Is 11.1 compatible with Pix.Because i can`t get my internal host to connect the internet(the same was working with cisco 2600,ios 12.3)

It shouldn't be an IOS issue. But you changed both hardware (router) and IOS. When doing this you may have lost some functionality. Can you post sh ver and sh run of both old and new configuration.

Yeah you are right,it wasn`t ios issue. The restart of pix solved the problem.

Sorry just a quick check

ip nat outside source static 192.168.0.1 172.16.0.1

Can both(inside and outside network) initiate traffic to specified host.Or should I have one seperate for inside.

This NAT entry is static, therefore it'll always be in NAT table (you can check with sh ip nat translation). And from both sides traffic can be initiated.
