Is it possible to aggregate Gigabit Ethernet links at different

switches (Cat2950G) in stack into GigaEtherChanel for uplink to a core switch?

Re: Is it possible to aggregate Gigabit Ethernet links at differ

if you are asking "can you run Gigabit Etherchannel between a core switch, and then to two different dist switches then the answer is no. This would create a loop. As far as I am aware, you must run Etherchannel between two switches as the switch at each end treats the links as one physical link, two switches would not be able to do this

Yes, I hoped then ther was a way to distribute trank allot dist switches in order to increase reliability.

Thank you very much.
