Is it possible to configure two routers with multiple BRI and callback

I have 2 x 2611 with 4 port ISDN modules.

I wish to use them to connect two sites using 2 x ISDN-2 lines and keep the call charges at one site by using the dialer callback feature.

Site A will be with callback and site B without callback. It is intended thats Site A will incur most of the call charges, i.e. except initial connection call charges.

The design must allow for interesting traffic will come from either site to bring up the link.

Is it possible to multilink the channels with callback? Are there any known problems with this arrangement.

If there are no problems do you have a sample script using dialer profiles that shows the use of multiple BRIs and callback together - needless to say I have combed the Cisco site for such an example.

In general this should be fine. You

should use recent 12.2 code to get

some fixes regarding callback issues

with MPPP, where subsequent links

were not called back.

You can use ISDN/dialer callback (where

the initial call is NOT answered), or

PPP callback (where it is). Some URLs

that may help you:

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/793/access_dial/dialer-redial-callback-4686.html

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/793/access_dial/bri_isdn_callback.html

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/793/access_dial/isdn-ppp-callback.html

In your case, you would want to put all

the BRI's into a dialer rotary group.
