Is it possible to use one BRI for two semi-permanent connections?

If it is possible to configure both BRI channels on Cisco 800 router as separate semi-permanent lines?

It means that one channel (BRI0:1) would be connected to one router and other (BRI0:2) would be connected to the other. It is very important for these connections to be semi-permanent.

Re: Is it possible to use one BRI for two semi-permanent connect

Easy, creat 2 dialer interfaces, one for the router1

direction and the other for the router2 connection.

Put dialer pool-member 1 max-link 1, and dialer pool-member 2 max-link 1 under the isdn

bri interface.

Apply the pool to each dialer interface created, this will allow two connection

to be dialed and each used 64 each.

If you also want to be able to connect to another site with the two

isdn channels, you can add a third dialer interface, dialer pool-member 3 max-link 2.

This would use all b-channels if none is in use, or one if one is in use or none if both are in use.

You can prioritise which dial-pool has what higher preference when contending for b-channels.
