Sam,

One of the best places to research Software, Feature, Platform, Image, etc., is the Feature Navigator.

Please refer the below URL for details.

I hope it helps.

Samuel,

IOS versions are released per platforms. What exactly are you after ?

NO,

IOS versions for routers and switches are not the same.

you must have router specific or switch specific IOS.

(the IOS cannot be interchanged between router switch)

i knew the lastest version of router is 12.4.

but, how to check the lastest version of Switch?

Samuel

Samuel,

Switches' latest release train is 12.2.

Sam,

The Latest Version depends upon the Switching platform.

For example:

On 2900XL Platform - 12.0(5)WC15

On 2950 - 12.1(22)EA8

On 3500XL Platform - 12.0(5)WC15

On 3550 - 12.2(25)SEE2

It would be better if you specify the switch platform that you have questions about, so we could point you in the right direction.

I hope it helps.

Arul

Go to cisco.com under direct access click on the drop down arrow and click on Cisco IOS Software. From your left pick the product that you would like to download. Ex. LAN Switching. Hope this helps. And yes different platform has different IOS.

hi ajagadee & bauti1428,

could you advise the reference link?

thanks!

Samuel

Are you looking for switch or router IOS? Give us the model number of the switch or router and we can direct you to the download page and IOS versions.
