Is "VLAN per MAC Adress" supported by Catalyst ?

Hello,

my switches (35xx, 29xx), works with VLAN "per port'" for now with 6509's on top.

For a new project, I need to design VLAN's per MAC address. I don't find any documentation about this.

It is supported ?

Thanks

VMPS is probably what you need.

If your VLAN per MAC address means assigning a port to a VLAN based upon what MAC address connects VMPS is the feaure. In fact:

With VMPS, you can assign switch ports to VLANs dynamically, based on the source MAC address of the device connected to the port. When you move a host from a port on one switch in the network to a port on another switch in the network, the switch assigns the new port to the proper VLAN for that host dynamically.
