Is the 2610XM image going to work on my C2610 ?

HI,

On the back of my router I see that model listed is "C2610".

I am planning to install image for "2610XM-2611XM", Advanced IP Services

image name:"2600-advipservicesk9-mz.124-10.bin"

Can someone confirm whether such 2610XM image would

work on my C2610 router ? I read all the documentation

but I couldn't figure out.

No, it will not work

The last supported Release for C2600 non-XM is 12.3 Mainline. You will not be able to use this image

OK, I hope that if I downloaded the same XM image version 12.3, based on what you are saying it should work on my C2610 then.

You can try tftp booting the image.

Look here for configuration.
