The problem is that I am wanting to run Nat on them for an upcoming NAT lab I'm setting up. Before you say "well upgrade" just know that I can"t, There are no funds allocated to me for purchasing any more equipment for the lab. :(
I'm having trouble finding an IOS image with NAT support that will work on that hardware with such a small flash size.
Any help is appreciated. In the end if i can't find one then I'll be forced to use a tftp server and booting the image from tftp. But i'd like to keep that as the last reort.
there is no image that supports NAT and that runs on only 4MB of Flash. You need at least IOS version 12.0 IP Only (image name is c2500-i-l.12.0-27), which requires 6MB DRAM and 8MB Flash. A Flash upgrade is really not expensive, I would guess something around 20 or 25 dollars. Which country are you in ?
