That would depend on what you mean by "subscribers". If you're looking to terminate PPPoE tunnels for doing DSL or Cable or something similar, most of the 7X00 series routers will work for you. Either the regular routers or the UBR series too. You would need to select alot of memory and a high-end processor, but depending on what you want to do, one of them would definitely be able to handle it..
You might also be able to do this on some of the 3700 series routers, but you'd want to be very careful about sizing it correctly since they are more single purpose routers and not as expandable...
