Dear Friends,

We do have to provide an ISDN backup soluiton for a customer who is having primary link Ethernet based RF.

Customer is connected like this :

Cisco 1721 - serial towards ISP,1 BRI, ethernet to RF modem and on the other end RF modem to PIX ethernet.

Now we have an additional router cisco 803 with 1E, 1BRI.The plan is to terminate the RF output on the other end from PIX to this 803.And PIX connected to hub port. And ISDN is connected to 1721 BRI card.So whenever the ethernet goes down (RF Modem goes down) Either side of the router should dial to other end router...

Please help me to give a solution....

In this case before PIX , you should ahve the Cisco 803 router terminated to the the RF modem. THe ISDN bri in the Cisco 803 will act as a backup whenver the ethernet goes down. PIX should act as a firwewall after Cisco 803 router.
