WIC-2A/S have a V.35 serial connector so you can connect BRI modem which have a V.35 interface for router connection. You can use V.35DTE cable

Visit following url for more on that

Dear Tepatel,

can i connect the Bri thru TA. If i have TA with DB-25 port, which later on connected to WIC-2A/s thru Db-25 to smart serial cable.

I think it willnot work as DB25 is for async communication and we are talking about async communication over bri line.

You can try it but i doubt it will work.

Dear Tepatel,

I have seen a set up of Bri like this

ISDN BRI----NT1-----TA---(RS232 cable)----serial card of Motorola Router /PC.

so if that works ....being an optimistic approach ...i think it will.

Apart from this. I did my CCNP-BSCn and i want to go for further certification.

like CCIE- Routing and Switching.

I m thru with Remote access part and want to start switching/troubleshooting.

kindly instruct me..

regards

Manish
