ISDN Callback with Static IP

Dear all

has anyone configured ISDN Callback (not CID callback, but the one

that works with the windows client which sends the callback string),

in a way that the AS assigns static IP to the client and not from pool?

dialer map IP name xxxxx does not work with

callback.. it works with normal isdn dialins..

Any conf examples?

Thanx alot..!

Re: ISDN Callback with Static IP

We need to debug that issue. How far the connection goes during callback or during that process? Does callback negotiated fine? Does nas drops the line and prepare for callback? etc..

Following debug will help.

debug isdn q931

debug ppp nego

debug ppp cbcp

debug callback

debug dialer

You can use AAA to control that static ip assignment. OR you can configure client to come up with static ip address during IPCP and have NAS to accept it using command "ppp ipcp accept-address" under the interface.

Re: ISDN Callback with Static IP

Problem solved!

I was using multilink on my calls, so the call went through virtual template.. when i disabled multilink on the client 'dialer map ip' command worked just fine..

Thanx alot :)
