I have been told with isdn you need to have same subnet either end of the dialler, is this true ? and does that go for both BRI setups and dialler interfaces ?
call establishment is layer2 process and IP is layer3, call can be establish no matter you are using a diffrent subnet but for layer3 IP communication you need same subnet.
ah ok, so in theory its not like serial where it doesnt matter what ip the other end is on ?
