ISDN dialout from 2600 router authenticate to remote end with securid
we currently have a system used to connect to a third party that uses an ISDN Termina Adaptor on a desktop PC, with Windows dialup networking to presumably make a PPP connection to the 3rdParty. This PPP session is authenticated with the users' SecurID PIN and keyfob number as the PPP password, which obviuosly changes every time.
Is there any way to 'move' this to a Cisco router? Presumably there must be a client component on the workstation which either informs the router of the current session password before a connection is initiated, or some form of listener that the router connects to when a dialout connection is initiated that prompts the users for the SecurID password.
I know that Ascend pipeline routers have this functionality - can it be done with a Cisco?
We have 3 identical switches configured by someone else and would like to claim some of the Gigabit ports(G1/G2/G3/G4) for use on servers. When we try to change the wiring and configuration, we run in to connectivity issues. Attached is a des...
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
