ISDN fast roll-over

Hi all,

ISDN is configured as DDR, but sometimes It would dial

without interesting traffic. "show dialer" display the

dialer reason is "ISDN fast roll-over", what's it meaning

and how to prevent it happening?

Rollover happens, when one line is busy and the call is then placed on to the second line. This can happen if the call has not torn down on line 1, and appears to be busy, due to which call is placed on line 2.

Have you setup any hunt groups on your BRI lines ? If not try increasing rollover delay by using the command,

isdn fast-rollover-delay X ()

This will delay the second call by X seconds. (gives enough time to tear down the first call).

Hopefully that works.
