On my router, I have seen lots of usernames and passwords for the isdn connections, do I just set these under the global config mode, I would of though that when I type another one in it over writes the old one , but his must not be the case ?

hi
You need to remove the existing username and password to remove them from the config otherwise it will keep on adding over that.its a default behaviour but if you want to change the password for an exisiting username you just need to enter the same username with the new password that will change the password of the existing username without adding a new one over that..

would this be because the router is an isdn 30 ?, there is a big list of usernames and passwords on it ?
