Re: isdn

By default the isdn interface is DDR enabled. Which makes the idle-timeout default to 120 sec. BUT to make the idle-timeout work properly, you need to configure the "interesting traffic" which will reset the idle-timeout back to max. So pl. make sure that you have following commands under the isdn interface

dialer-group 1

dailer idle-timeout xxxx

And

dialer-group 1 protocol ip permit

to define all the ip traffic as "interesting" for in/out bound traffic. Pl. visit following url for more information

Thx..Tejal

Re: isdn

Make sure you have interesting traffic defined

in you config. If it is not defined then the timer will not be effective. under the interface have following commands

dialer idle timeout XXX

dialer group 1 --to define interesting traffic

then in the global mode have this command

dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit
